Central Union Baptist Church is a bible-based ministry whose principle vision is to meet the needs of our membership and community with love and simplicity. With this in mind, it is our vision to provide quality childcare to the churched and un-churched families in Fort Valley, Georgia and surrounding areas. Central Union Baptist Church is a highly visible ministry in the Fort Valley area with a long history of parishioners who are highly qualified and bring a complementary mixture of childcare knowledge, business experience and building expertise to this project.

Loving Heart Learning Center and Academy will provide excellence in education from a Christian perspective. The center will offer flexible and high quality childcare to families who need care for their children between 6 weeks and 12 years of age. Many of today's families have children within this age group and would prefer to place their children in a quality childcare facility with Christian ethics and values. Furthermore, many area families presently obtain Christian childcare in facilities out of the area that are not convenient to their travel to and from work. Because of this, Loving Heart Learning Center and Academy will truly meet the needs of its community.

The short term goal of Loving Heart Learning Center and Academy is to have a temporary center fully licensed and operational to accommodate at least 50 children at any given time by June 2008. The long term vision of the center is to provide quality, Christian-based education to school-aged children from Kindergarten to Eighth Grade. In addition, the center will expand for community, church and family education.

The Facility

The facility is targeted for the cities of Fort Valley, Byron, Roberta, Butler, Marshallville and Reynolds.

The new facility (Highway 96) will be 5,000 square feet, which will be used for childcare and office space. It will be conveniently located on Highway 96 West near Peach County High School and Fort Valley Middle School. The facility will also be located near the Highway 49 and 96 By-Pass and U.S. Highway 341.

Operating Hours

Loving Heart Learning Center and Academy will be open the entire calendar year from January through December. The operating days and hours will be Mondays through Fridays from 6:30am to 6:00pm. The center will be open during most local school breaks.

Management

A Board of Directors will govern the corporate operations of Loving Heart Learning Center and Academy and ensure compliance with all rules and regulations. For practical purposes, a Director will be responsible for daily operations, setting of policy, procedures and general oversight of the center.
